When the user clicks the Print button, the software closes or crashes instead of opening the print dialog.
The most common reason is a corrupted or incompatible printer driver.
When the application triggers the print function, the faulty driver may cause the software to shut down unexpectedly.
Ask the customer to:
Uninstall the current printer driver from Control Panel → Programs and Features or using the printer manufacturer’s uninstaller.
Download and install the latest official driver from the manufacturer’s website.
Restart the PC and test the Print function again.
If the customer cannot install the driver:
Provide remote assistance.
Download the correct driver based on their OS version and complete the installation.
Restart the computer and verify if the Print button functions properly.
After restarting the PC:
Open the application.
Click Print and confirm the issue is resolved.
